How can you make a difference?
Under the direct supervision of the ICT Officer, the ICT Assistant is required to perform moderately specified tasks in the area of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The role requires hands-on engagement in ICT technical systems setup, maintenance, and the provision of client-oriented customer support, including remote support to UNICEF staff located in other Pacific Island countries.
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
- Completion of secondary education
- Completion of a university degree in ICT related discipline will be an advantage
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in ICT technical systems set up and maintenance and ICT user support provision. Involvement in modern cloud based solution implementation and support will be an advantage.
- Advanced knowledge of Networking and Windows Operating System environment
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
